Over/Under Projections for Week 6

Happy Sunday!

Every Sunday I make my over/under projections, my correct percentage heading into week 5 sat at 55% (22 correct picks out of 40 total picks).

Let’s see my week 5 results.

  1. PATRICK MAHOMES, KC PROJECTED 22.4: OVER19.24 WRONG
  2. RUSSELL WILSON, DEN PROJECTED 17.7: UNDER18.47 WRONG
  3. JOSHUA DOBBS, ARI PROJECTED 18.4: UNDER8.74 CORRECT
  4. ALVIN KAMARA, NO PROJECTED 16.8: UNDER18.7 WRONG
  5. DERRICK HENRY, TEN PROJECTED 14.8: OVER 9.2 WRONG
  6. BREECE HALL, NYJ PROJECTED 13.1: OVER28.4 CORRECT
  7. A.J. BROWN, PHI PROJECTED 18.8: UNDER18.7 CORRECT
  8. JAYLEN WADDLE, MIA PROJECTED 13.5: OVER14.5 CORRECT
  9. TANK DELL, HOU PROJECTED 11.8: UNDER 8.3 CORRECT
  10. LUKE MUSGRAVE, GB PROJECTED 8.2: OVER9.4 CORRECT

I am now 28 for 50 (56%). That number will continue to rise!

Here are my ten over/under projections for week 6. GO GET A WIN!

  1. KIRK COUSINS, MIN PROJECTED 20.1: OVER– One of the most fun matchups for week 6 is the Minnesota Vikings traveling to Chicago to take on the Bears. This should be a high-scoring matchup between two 1-4 teams. Quarterbacks are averaging 22.4 fantasy points per game against the Bears defense. Yes, Justin Jefferson will not be out there for Cousins, but he is a must-start in a great matchup.
  2. BROCK PURDY, SF PROJECTED 15.9: UNDER– The San Francisco 49ers will be in Cleveland to take on the Browns today. Purdy is currently QB7, averaging 19.8 fantasy points per game. Quarterbacks are only averaging 11.6 fantasy points per game against the Browns defense. Purdy is a mid-tier start for me. I’d rather start Matthew Stafford, Dak Prescott and Trevor Lawrence today.
  3. DAVID MONTGOMERY, DET PROJECTED 19.3: UNDER– We all heard Dan Campbell say this week that David Montgomery is the work-horse running back for the Detroit Lions. We also know that Jahmyr Gibbs is out. The Detroit Lions will be in Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers. Running backs are averaging 18.9 fantasy points per game against the Buccaneers defense. Montgomery has scored in every game he’s played as a Lion, I think that streak ends today.
  4. SAQUON BARKLEY, NYG PROJECTED 15.8: UNDER– Barkley is expected to make his return for the New York Giants tonight as they play in Buffalo on Sunday Night Football. The game is most likely to be a blowout and Barkley’s first game since suffering a high ankle sprain. If Barkley goes, he’s a must-start but don’t have high expectations today.
  5. JONATHAN TAYLOR, IND PROJECTED 11.9: OVER– Jonathan Taylor only posted 4.4 fantasy points in his first game of the season last week for the Colts. This week the Colts will be taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars. I expect Taylor to be more featured today for the Colts. Taylor will find the end zone today, BOOK IT!
  6. CEEDEE LAMB, DAL PROJECTED 15.3: OVER– We all heard the chatter this week as players were calling Lamb not a true wide receiver one. What happens when that happens? Players go off. The Dallas Cowboys will be in Los Angeles to take on the Chargers on Monday Night Football tomorrow night. Wide receivers average 47.4 fantasy points per game against the Chargers secondary. This should be a high-scoring game, and a breakout game for Lamb.
  7. DEVONTA SMITH, PHI PROJECTED 14.4: OVER– The Philadelphia Eagles will be in New Jersey to take on the New York Jets today. Sauce Gardener and DJ Reed are both out. The Eagles should feast on the Jets today. I expect a big game for DeVonta Smith who is due.
  8. JAKOBI MEYERS, LV PROJECTED 14.0: UNDER– Revenge game? I don’t think so. Jakobi Meyers has been killing it since joining the Las Vegas Raiders. He is currently WR20, averaging 17.6 fantasy points per game. The New England Patriots come to town today, Meyers is a must-start but I don’t see him hitting his projected total today.
  9. MARK ANDREWS, BAL PROJECTED 13.0: UNDER– In a matter of moments the Baltimore Ravens will be taking on the Tennessee Titans in London. Mark Andrews is currently TE5, averaging 15.1 fantasy points per game. Tight ends are only averaging 8.5 fantasy points per game against the Titans.
  10. ZACH ERTZ, ARI PROJECTED 9.9: OVER– A low-key exciting week 6 matchup is the Arizona Cardinals taking on the Los Angeles Rams in Los Angeles. Tight ends are averaging 15.4 fantasy points per game against the Rams secondary. The Cardinals are going to have to throw often to keep up with the Rams. Ertz should surpass his projected total today.

Over/Under Projections for Week 5

Happy Sunday Fantasy Footballers!

I entered week 4 with a 16 correct picks out of 30 total picks. That put me at a correct rate of 53%.

Let’s see how I did in week 4.

  1. TREVOR LAWRENCE, JAX PROJECTED 15.8: OVER16.48 CORRECT
  2. C.J. STROUD, HOU PROJECTED 15.3: UNDER21.84 WRONG
  3. KENNETH WALKER III, SEA PROJECTED 17.6: UNDER13.9 CORRECT
  4. JOSH JACOBS, LV PROJECTED 15.2: OVER27.9 CORRECT
  5. DE’VON ACHANE, MIA PROJECTED 12.6: UNDER 27.0 WRONG
  6. DEVONTA SMITH, PHI PROJECTED 14.4: OVER14.8 CORRECT
  7. COURTLAND SUTTON, DEN PROJECTED 13.8: OVER 11.7 WRONG
  8. ZAY FLOWERS, BAL PROJECTED 13.4: UNDER8.0 CORRECT
  9. GEORGE KITTLE, SF PROJECTED 11.2: OVER1.9 WRONG
  10. TYLER HIGBEE, LAR PROJECTED 8.4: OVER 11.4 CORRECT

I now sit at 22 correct picks out of 40 total picks, 55% correct rate.

Here are my ten 0ver/under predictions for week 5! GO GET A WIN TODAY!

  1. PATRICK MAHOMES, KC PROJECTED 22.4: OVER– Mahomes posted only 13.22 fantasy points in week against the New York Jets. The Kansas City Chiefs will be in Minnesota to take on the Vikings today. Quarterbacks are averaging 19.4 fantasy points per game against the Vikings defense. I expect a big day from Mahomes and the entire Chiefs offense.
  2. RUSSELL WILSON, DEN PROJECTED 17.7: UNDER– The Denver Broncos play host to the New York Jets today. Russell Wilson has been pretty solid for fantasy purposes in 2023. He is currently QB11, averaging 19.4 fantasy points per game. It’s a tough home matchup against the Jets. Wilson is a mid-tier start for me and I cannot see him going over his projection of 17.7.
  3. JOSHUA DOBBS, ARI PROJECTED 18.4: UNDER– Who would have thought that Joshua Dobbs would be QB16 heading into week 5? He currently has more fantasy points than Trevor Lawrence, Dak Prescott and Joe Burrow. The Arizona Cardinals play host to the Cincinnati Bengals today. Quarterbacks are averaging 16.9 fantasy points per game against the Bengals defense. Dobbs is a mid-tier start for me, I cannot see him hitting his projection today.
  4. ALVIN KAMARA, NO PROJECTED 16.8: UNDER– Kamara returned from his three game suspension last week and posted 21.4 fantasy points. 13 of those points came from receptions. The New Orleans Saints will be taking on the New England Patriots today. Kamara is a must-start but I cannot see him hitting his projection today, or catching 13 passes.
  5. DERRICK HENRY, TEN PROJECTED 14.8: OVER– Henry erupted for 24.38 fantasy points in week 4, after posting 2.0 points in week 3. The Tennessee Titans will be in Indianapolis to take on the Colts today. Running backs are averaging 21.7 fantasy points per game against the Colts defense. Henry is a must-start and should have a nice day for fantasy managers.
  6. BREECE HALL, NYJ PROJECTED 13.1: OVER– Breece Hall is no longer on a snap count according to head coach Robert Saleh. The New York Jets will be in Denver to take on the Broncos today. Running backs are averaging 44.0 fantasy points per game against the Broncos defense. That number is high considering the Broncos gave up 103.1 fantasy points to the Miami Dolphins in week 3. Hall should have himself a big day and should be a must-start moving forward.
  7. A.J. BROWN, PHI PROJECTED 18.8: UNDER– A.J. Brown posted 38.5 fantasy points in week 4, breaking out after a slow start. Today the Philadelphia Eagles will be taking on the Rams in Los Angeles. Wide receivers are only averaging 28.6 fantasy points per game against the Rams defense. Brown has usually been a boom or bust player, I can’t see him hitting that high mark of 18.8 fantasy points today.
  8. JAYLEN WADDLE, MIA PROJECTED 13.5: OVER– The Waddle game is coming and is has to be today, right? Waddle is averaging 10.9 fantasy points per game thus far. The Miami Dolphins are coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Buffalo Bills. I expect today to be a Waddle game.
  9. TANK DELL, HOU PROJECTED 11.8: UNDER– The Houston Texans will be in Atlanta to take on the Falcons today. Wide receivers are averaging 28.0 fantasy points per game against the Falcons secondary. Tank Dell currently ranks as WR25, averaging 14.0 fantasy points per game. His mark of 11.8 will NOT be hit today.
  10. LUKE MUSGRAVE, GB PROJECTED 8.2: OVER– The Green Bay Packers will be taking on the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. Musgrave left early in week 4 with a concussion. He is cleared to play tomorrow night. I expect a touchdown for the rookie.

Players to be Patient With/Panic With

Happy Tuesday Fantasy Football Fanatics!

Four weeks have come, and four weeks have gone.

As always with football, some players just do not live up to expectations. Fantasy managers get concerned, they must make a decision with themself. Is it time to be patient with these players? Or is it time to panic with these players?

In this article I will go through players per position and decide if it is time to be patient with or panic with them.

Here we go!

QB

  1. Justin Fields, Chi– Fields, most likely, was a top seven quarterback pick in fantasy drafts this year. Usually he went behind Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow and sometime Justin Herbert. Through four weeks, Fields ranks as QB13, averaging 17.0 fantasy points per game. In week four Fields erupted for 27.9 fantasy points. If you remember last year, Fields also got off to a brutal start. As the season progresses, Fields should get better. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  2. Trevor Lawrence, Jax– As with Fields above, Lawrence was taken after those quarterbacks plus Fields. Lawrence currently ranks as QB17, averaging 14.5 fantasy points per game. Lawrence was a quarterback I was very interested in heading into the season with the additional of Calvin Ridley. However, Lawrence has looked lost thus far. If he was my quarterback, I’d be looking for other options, quickly. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  3. Dak Prescott, Dal– Dak Prescott is my quarterback in two leagues, unfortunately. Through four weeks he ranks as QB21, averaging 13.7 fantasy points per game. Quarterbacks ahead of Prescott thus far include Baker Mayfield, Joshua Dobbs and Sam Howell. Prescott is not worth starting in tough matchups, like this week in San Francisco. He is just not even close to an elite quarterback. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  4. Joe Burrow, Cin– Currently, Joe Burrow is QB31 averaging 7.9 fantasy points per game. Yes, you read that correctly. QB31 averaging 7.9 fantasy points per game. WOW! Burrow has been absolutely abysmal thus far in 2023. Flacked by a calf injury most of the preseason, Burrow just can’t seem to find his footing as signing a massive extension with the Bengals. Burrow is no longer a must-start, however don’t drop him just yet. I think big things are coming. Buy-low on Burrow! VERDICT: BE PATIENT

RB

  1. Joe Mixon, Cin– Through four weeks, Joe Mixon is RB20, averaging 11.6 fantasy points per game. Not a great start for a running back most likely drafted at the end of the second or early third round in fantasy drafts. The entire Bengals offense just has not been clicking. Mixon is still a bell-cow back and is someone not to panic about….. yet. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  2. Rhamondre Stevenson, NE– After the New England Patriots signed Ezekiel Elliott, fantasy managers were concerned for Stevenson’s fantasy value. Clearly, it has had an impact on him, additionally the Patriots just do not look too great right now. Stevenson is currently RB23, averaging 10.8 fantasy points per game. Easier matchups are coming up for Stevenson, and although Zeke will play a role, don’t panic on Stevenson or the Patriots! VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  3. Jahmyr Gibbs, Det– Most NFL teams take a running back in the first round…. to play them, right? Well not the Detroit Lions. David Montgomery seems to be the clear-cut number one running back for the Lions. Gibbs is currently RB26 averaging 9.7 fantasy points per game. Gibbs’ value cannot be taken seriously with a healthy David Montgomery. Hopefully you passed on Gibbs in drafts. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  4. Dameon Pierce, Hou– Here is what Dameon Pierce yards per game per game thus far. 3.5, 2.1, 2.2 and 3.4. Pierce has no where to run thus far and only has 8 catches on the year. Luckily for Pierce the Texans offense looks much improved with C.J. Stroud under center. The lanes may open up as Stroud continues to improve. Pierce gets too much work, I’m staying patient with him. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  5. Breece Hall, NYJ– Breece Hall looked like he was going to be an absolute stud in week one. He posted 147 total yards on 11 touches. Since week one, he has 26 total touches (8.7 per game) for 105 total yards (35.0 per game). Not sure what the Jets are doing here with him, he’s clearly the most talented running back on the roster. The Jets will be with Zach Wilson under center the rest of the way, but talent is talent. Breece Hall is THE guy. I think he’ll get his soon. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  6. Javonte Williams, Den– Javonte Williams is yet to surpass 10 fantasy points in any game thus far. The Denver Broncos clearly are lost. Williams also hurt his hip, which may impact his status this week. I was off Javonte Williams heading into the season, I’m not sure he is worth starting right now. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  7. Najee Harris, Pit– We all have eyes, we all watch football every Sunday. Najee Harris has clearly lost a step. He has fullback speed as a running back. Harris is currently RB37 averaging 7.1 fantasy points per game. Jaylen Warren figures to have an increased role at some point. I would not be confident moving forward with Najee Harris in my lineup. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  8. Dalvin Cook, NYJ– Another Jets running back makes my list here. RB54, averaging 4.5 fantasy points per game is what Dalvin Cook has done through four weeks. Not only is he not startable, he’s not even worth holding as a bench option. Cook is a hand-cuff to Breece Hall. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  9. AJ Dillon, GB– AJ Dillon is averaging 2.7 yards per carry in 2023. Yes, the Green Bay Packers offensive line is hurting, but AJ Dillon is sucking. As I said with Najee Harris, we all have eyes and watch the games. AJ Dillon is pretty slow. He’s just a hand-cuff to Aaron Jones and is a touchdown dependent option if Jones is out. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  10. Antonio Gibson, Wsh– Brian Robinson Jr. has emerged as the starting bell-cow running back for the Washington Commanders. Antonio Gibson is RB58 thus far. Gibson has 13 carries (3.3 per game) and 8 receptions (2.0 per game) through four games. Gibson is another guy who is just a hand-cuff right now. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC

WR

  1. Garrett Wilson, NYJ- When you go from Aaron Rodgers to Zach Wilson, a lot of things are going to change. To all fantasy managers who drafted Wilson, I’m sorry. Wilson is currently WR25, averaging 13.9 fantasy points per game. He will not be the stud wide receiver this year. He will be servicable but it’s time to panic if you took him in the first or second round of your draft. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  2. Chris Olave, NO- Olave had 1.4 fantasy points in week four. 1.4!!! That is unacceptable for a stud receiver like Olave. Olave ranks as WR27, averaging 13.4 fantasy points per game. It’s not time to panic, but now it is reasonable to expect some dud games from Olave. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  3. Chris Godwin, TB- Heading into the season, I expected Godwin to be Baker Mayfield’s go-to target. Godwin is coming off of an 8 catch for 114 yards game. It’s really tough to expect much from Baker Mayfield’s receivers, but Godwin should see brighter days as the season progresses. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  4. Calvin Ridley, Jax– What happened here?! Week one Ridley hauled in 8 receptions on 11 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown. Since he has 7 total catches on 17 total targets for 110 total yards and one touchdown. Ridley just had 2 targets in week four. Ridley is talented, there is no doubt about it. His targets will increase, his production will increase. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  5. DeAndre Hopkins, Ten– The Tennessee Titans went and signed Hopkins, making him Ryan Tannehill’s number one receiving option. Through four games, Hopkins ranks as WR46, averaging 9.9 fantasy points per game. Some wide receivers with more points than Hopkins in 2023 include Rashid Shaheed, Josh Reynolds and Marvin Mims Jr. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  6. Tee Higgins, Cin– Higgins is expected to miss some time with broken ribs. Regardless, through four week he is WR50, averaging 9.2 fantasy points per game. He put a doughnut in week one. Higgins is in a contract year and will not play unless he is 100%. However, when he is back, like the rest of the Bengals, I expect better production. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  7. Drake London, Atl– London was a hot commodity for fantasy managers in drafts. The truth of the matter is that Arthur Smith loves to run the ball and disregards his wide receiver one and stud tight end. London is WR52 averaging 8.9 fantasy points per game. The Falcons are a run-heavy team. London has to deal with his system, for now. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  8. Jaylen Waddle, Mia– Waddle missed week 3, but in three games he has 12 catches (4.0 per game) for 210 yards (70.0 yards per game). Not great, but good things are coming. The Miami offense is lethal, Waddle will get his soon. VERDICT: BE PATIENT

TE

  1. Darren Waller, NYG– Waller sits as TE12, averaging 7.6 fantasy points per game. Daniel Jones and the entire New York Football Giants offense has looked off. Waller is averaging 5.8 targets per game; the Giants offense should be improved with Saquon Barkley returning. VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  2. George Kittle, SF– Kittle has always been a boom or bust player. Through four games he sits as TE13, averaging 7.2 fantasy points per game. That big game will come, maybe even this week against the Dallas Cowboys. But in terms of consistency, it will be tough especially on that loaded offense. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC
  3. David Njoku, Cle– Njoku is averaging 7.0 fantasy points per game. Through four games Njoku has 16 catches on 18 targets for 138 yards and 0 touchdowns. Better days should be coming for the Cleveland tight end. Hold tight! VERDICT: BE PATIENT
  4. Kyle Pitts, Atl– The Atlanta Falcons run, run, run the ball! Pitts is TE29 averaging 5.7 fantasy points per game. At this point, he is safe to drop. VERDICT: TIME TO PANIC

Over/Under Projections for Week 4

Happy Sunday Folks!

Today is October 1, 2023. We have entered the tenth month of the year. Make it a good one, get yourself ready for the holiday season that will be here in short time!

Week 4 features a slot of fantastic games. Last week I made my ten over/under picks, let’s see how I did.

  1. JUSTIN HERBERT, LAC PROJECTED 20.2: OVER29.3 CORRECT
  2. JORDAN LOVE, GB PROJECTED 14.1: OVER24.26 CORRECT
  3. DERRICK HENRY, TEN PROJECTED 16.8: UNDER2.0 CORRECT
  4. MILES SANDERS, CAR PROJECTED 15.7: UNDER17.2 WRONG
  5. BRIAN ROBINSON JR., WSH PROJECTED 12.9: UNDER7.0 CORRECT
  6. JA’MARR CHASE, CIN PROJECTED 20.0: UNDER26.1 WRONG
  7. MIKE EVANS, TB PROJECTED 14.6: UNDER- 17.0 WRONG
  8. DJ MOORE, CHI PROJECTED 12.7: OVER13.1 CORRECT
  9. SAM LAPORTA, DET PROJECTED 9.0: OVER22.4 CORRECT
  10. JAKE FERGUSON, DAL PROJECTED 8.5: OVER9.8 CORRECT

Week 3 was my best week by far! I enter week 4 with 16 correct picks of 30 total tries. This puts me at 53%.

Here are my over/under picks for week 4, best of luck to all the fantasy managers!

  1. TREVOR LAWRENCE, JAX PROJECTED 15.8: OVER– In about an hour the Jacksonville Jaguars play host to the Atlanta Falcons in London. Lawrence currently ranks QB18, averaging 13.8 fantasy points per game through three weeks of 2023. Quarterbacks are averaging 15.3 fantasy points per game against the Falcons in 2023. I expect Lawrence to have a decent game in a decent matchup.
  2. C.J. STROUD, HOU PROJECTED 15.3: UNDER– Stroud has posted back-to-back 20+ points. This week the Pittsburgh Steelers come to town. I’d fade Stroud in a tough matchup.
  3. KENNETH WALKER III, SEA PROJECTED 17.6: UNDER– On Monday Night Football, the Seattle Seahawks will be in New Jersey to take on the New York Giants. Walker III is coming off of a 30.6 game where he scored three touchdowns. Though he has a great matchup and is a must-start in week 4, his projection of 17.6 is high and I don’t think he’ll hit it.
  4. JOSH JACOBS, LV PROJECTED 15.2: OVER– Jacobs currently ranks as RB27, averaging 10.0 fantasy points per game. The Las Vegas Raiders play the Los Angeles Chargers in Los Angeles, however this essentially is a home game for the Raiders. Jimmy Garoppolo has been ruled out, rookie Aidan O’Connell will get the start. The Raiders are going to want to run the ball, and should have success against the Chargers. Jacobs will have his best game of 2023 today.
  5. DE’VON ACHANE, MIA PROJECTED 12.6: UNDER– If you hadn’t seen, De’Von Achane posted 51.3 fantasy points in week 3. This week the Miami Dolphins will be playing in Buffalo against the Bills. It has been reported that Achane has earned an increased role after his historic performance in week 3. I like Achance moving forward, but this is a tough matchup and I’d be wary starting him.
  6. DEVONTA SMITH, PHI PROJECTED 14.4: OVER– Smith busted in week 3 only posting 6.8 fantasy points. The Philadelphia Eagles play host to the Washington Commanders today. Wide receivers are averaging 39.2 fantasy points per game against the Commanders secondary. I expect Smith to bounce back and go over his projection of 14.4 in a great matchup.
  7. COURTLAND SUTTON, DEN PROJECTED 13.8: OVER– Sutton had 19.1 fantasy points in week 3, catching two touchdowns. However, he also fumbled twice. Week 3 was not a very good week for the Denver Broncos. This should be a bounce back week for the Broncos as they play in Chicago against the Bears. After a complete embarrassment, I expect the Broncos to come out hot. I like Sutton this week.
  8. ZAY FLOWERS, BAL PROJECTED 13.4: UNDER– Yes, the Ravens are without Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman. BUT the Ravens are playing in Cleveland against the Browns. Wide receivers are averaging 18.6 fantasy points per game against the Browns secondary. 18.6! All wide receivers! I would not be confident starting Flowers in a very tough matchup.
  9. GEORGE KITTLE, SF PROJECTED 11.2: OVER– The San Francisco 49ers play host to the Arizona Cardinals today. Tight ends are averaging 11.9 fantasy points per game against the Cardinals. Kittle has yet to score a touchdown in 2023, I’m taking Kittle anytime touchdown today. Start Kittle and expect a great game in a favorable matchup.
  10. TYLER HIGBEE, LAR PROJECTED 8.4: OVER– Higbee was limited all week with an achilles injury, but is expected to play. The Los Angeles Rams are in Indianapolis to take on the Colts. Higbee is another guy who has not scored a touchdown yet this year. I expect that to end today.

GET A WIN!

Over/Under Projections for Week 3

Happy Sunday!

I entered week 2 picking five of ten predictions correct, 50%, let’s see how I did last week.

  1. JOSH ALLEN, BUF PROJECTED 24.4: OVER23.66- WRONG
  2. TUA TAGOVAILOA, MIA PROJECTED 17.9: UNDER 12.26 CORRECT
  3. JAVONTE WILLIAMS, DEN PROJECTED 14.8: UNDER 7.8 CORRECT
  4. JAHMYR GIBBS, DET PROJECTED 13.2: OVER12.6 WRONG
  5. KYREN WILLIAMS, LAR PROJECTED 11.1: UNDER28.0 WRONG
  6. KEENAN ALLEN, LAC PROJECTED 15.2: OVER31.1 CORRECT
  7. GARRETT WILSON, NYJ PROJECTED 14.0: UNDER16.3 WRONG
  8. MIKE EVANS, TB PROJECTED 13.6: UNDER29.1 WRONG
  9. DAVID NJOKU, CLE PROJECTED 9.3: OVER6.8 WRONG
  10. DALTON KINCAID, BUF PROJECTED 8.3: OVER9.3 CORRECT

I now enter week three with 9 correct predictions out of 20 (45%). Not great people, not great.

Here are my over/under projections for week 3. If you are 0-2, THIS IS A MUST-WIN WEEK!

  1. JUSTIN HERBERT, LAC PROJECTED 20.2: OVER– Two 0-2 teams face-off in a must-win matchup as the Los Angeles Chargers travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings. Defense? They never heard of it. This game should be extremely high-scoring, maybe the highest scoring game of the week. Herbert is a must-start and should have a big game in what should be a fun matchup.
  2. JORDAN LOVE, GB PROJECTED 14.1: OVER– Jordan Love has 43.34 fantasy points through two weeks, he is averaging 21.7 fantasy points per game thus far. The Green Bay Packers will be in New Orleans to take on the Saints today. Love has thrown for six touchdowns thus far, he is a mid-tier start but I expect him to get over his projected 14.1 points.
  3. DERRICK HENRY, TEN PROJECTED 16.8: UNDER– The Tennessee Titans will be playing a tough Cleveland Brown defense. Through two weeks, running backs are only averaging 15.5 fantasy points per game against the Browns defense. Henry is averaging 16.2 fantasy points per game through two weeks. He is always a must-start when healthy, but figures to have a slower game in a tough matchup today.
  4. MILES SANDERS, CAR PROJECTED 15.7: UNDER– In week 1, Miles Sanders had 11.8 fantasy points, in week 2 he had 7.7. Sanders has a great matchup taking on the Seattle Seahawks who are allowing 26.4 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. In stating that, Andy Dalton will be under center today, the Seahawks should control this game. Sanders is a must-start given his workload, but that projection of 15.7 seems high.
  5. BRIAN ROBINSON JR., WSH PROJECTED 12.9: UNDER– Through two weeks, Brian Robinson Jr. is running back three overall with 42.5 fantasy points. Today the Washington Commanders will be taking on the Buffalo Bills. Last week Raiders running backs combined for 13 carries for 20 yards against the Bills defense. Robinson Jr. has been impressive, however he is a mid-tier start in a tough matchup.
  6. JA’MARR CHASE, CIN PROJECTED 20.0: UNDER– There will be two Monday Night Football games this week, one being the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the Los Angeles Rams. Joe Burrow is listed as questionable, but is unlikely to play from what I’ve heard. Ja’Marr Chase is a must-start due to his talent, however his mark of 20.0 fantasy points will be hard to hit with Burrow likely out.
  7. MIKE EVANS, TB PROJECTED 14.6: UNDER– I was wrong last week with Evans, but I’m going after him again. Another Monday Night Football game is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting the Philadelphia Eagles. Wide receivers have been cooking against the Eagles secondary so far this season. Mike Evans scored 18.6 fantasy points in week 1 and 29.1 fantasy points in week 2. His hot-streak has to end, and it will end on Monday Night. If it doesn’t, I will never add him to my articles again.
  8. DJ MOORE, CHI PROJECTED 12.7: OVER– The Chicago Bears will be in Kansas City today to take on the Chiefs. Moore had 16.4 fantasy points in week 2, a number he should top in week 3. The Bears are going to have to throw often to keep up with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Moore is a must-start, and I expect the Bears offense to be better today.
  9. SAM LAPORTA, DET PROJECTED 9.0: OVER– LaPorta had 8.9 fantasy points in week 1 and 11.3 fantasy points in week 2. The Detroit Lions play host to the Atlanta Falcons today. I think it’s smart bet to take Sam LaPorta anytime touchdown. He is trending towards being a must-start every week, this week is a good week to start him.
  10. JAKE FERGUSON, DAL PROJECTED 8.5: OVER– Dak Prescott loves targeting his tight ends, look at Dalton Schultz over the past few years. His Dalton Schultz of 2023 is Jake Ferguson. The Dallas Cowboys play the Arizona Cardinals today. Another good bet today is Jake Ferguson anytime touchdown.

Over/Under Projections for Week 2

Happy Sunday Everyone!

For week 1, I did my first round of over/under projections, let’s see my results:

  1. GENO SMITH, SEA PROJECTED 19.2- OVER: Had 9.08 WRONG
  2. DAK PRESCOTT, DAL PROJECTED 18.4- UNDER: Had 6.32 CORRECT
  3. JOSH JACOBS, LV PROJECTED 16.5- UNDER: Had 9.1 CORRECT
  4. JAMAAL WILLIAMS, NO PROJECTED 14.5- OVER: Had 7.2 WRONG
  5. RAHEEM MOSTERT, MIA PROJECTED 12.0-OVER: Had 13.0 CORRECT
  6. DALVIN COOK, NYJ PROJECTED 12.0- UNDER: Had 8.9 CORRECT
  7. TEE HIGGINS, CIN PROJECTED 14.6- OVER: Had 0.0 WRONG
  8. CALVIN RIDLEY, JAX PROJECTED 14.2- UNDER: Had 24.1 WRONG
  9. COURTLAND SUTTON, DEN PROJECTED 13.1- OVER: Had 13.2 CORRECT
  10. ISAIAH LIKELY, BAL PROJECTED 9.2- OVER: Had 1.4 WRONG

Starting off 2023 at 50%, five of ten correct. Week 2 has a bunch of phenomenal matchups, make sure your are making the right lineup decisions!

Here are my over/under projections for Week 2.

  1. JOSH ALLEN, BUF PROJECTED 24.4: OVER– The Buffalo Bills suffered a tough loss in week 1 to the New York Jets, even after the season-ending injury to Aaron Rodgers. Josh Allen played terribly, he scored 9.04 fantasy points while turning over the football four times. Today the Buffalo Bills play host to the Las Vegas Raiders. I expect Allen to have a huge bounce-back game in a favorable matchup.
  2. TUA TAGOVAILOA, MIA PROJECTED 17.9: UNDER– The Sunday Night Football game features the Miami Dolphins visiting Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots. Tagovailoa exploded for 27.14 fantasy points in week 1, against a weak Los Angeles Chargers defense. The Patriots and Dolphins are very familiar with each other. Tagovailoa is a mid-tier play for me this week, in a tough divisional matchup.
  3. JAVONTE WILLIAMS, DEN PROJECTED 14.8: UNDER– The Denver Broncos play host to the Washington Commanders in week 2. Arizona Cardinals running backs scored 11.6 fantasy points in week 1 against the Commanders defense. Now I expect the Denver Broncos running backs to get over that number today, in stating that Williams only had 9.7 fantasy points in week 1. He would need to score a touchdown to hit the over on 14.8 fantasy points today. I don’t see it happening.
  4. JAHMYR GIBBS, DET PROJECTED 13.2: OVER– The Detroit Lions did not showcase their rookie first round pick as much as expected in week 1. Gibbs posted 8.0 fantasy points, but really looked explosive every time he touched the football. The Detroit Lions play host to the Seattle Seahawks today. It should be a high-scoring, electric game. Gibbs is a must-start and I expect him to play a lot more today.
  5. KYREN WILLIAMS, LAR PROJECTED 11.1: UNDER– I don’t think anyone knew that Kyren Williams would post 17.4 fantasy points in week 1, but he did. The Los Angeles Rams play host to a very tough San Francisco 49ers team today. Steelers running backs combined for 15.2 fantasy points in week 1 against the 49ers defense. I would not be comfortable starting Kyren Williams nor Cam Akers today.
  6. KEENAN ALLEN, LAC PROJECTED 15.2: OVER– Two tough AFC teams who lost in week 1 will play in Tennessee today as the Titans play host to the Los Angeles Chargers. Austin Ekeler will not be playing today, meaning the Chargers will rely a lot more on Justin Herbert throwing the football. A beneficiary of that? Keenan Allen. Allen posted 14.2 fantasy points in week 1, I expect him to see a ton of targets in what should be a good team today.
  7. GARRETT WILSON, NYJ PROJECTED 14.0: UNDER– An absolutely incredible talent just went from Aaron Rodgers to Zach Wilson as his quarterback. The New York Jets will be in Dallas to take on the Cowboys today. New York Giant wide receivers combined for 7.1 fantasy points against the Cowboys defense in week 1. Wilson’s fantasy value has taken a drastic hit and things won’t be great today in a very tough matchup.
  8. MIKE EVANS, TB PROJECTED 13.6: UNDER– Mike Evans scored 18.6 fantasy points in week 1, the first week playing with Baker Mayfield as his starting quarterback. To me, Evans is going to be a boom or bust player for all of 2023. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers play host to the Chicago Bears today. Evans is a must-start for me, but I don’t expect him to find the end zone today.
  9. DAVID NJOKU, CLE PROJECTED 9.3: OVER– There will be two games tomorrow night, on Monday Night Football, one being the Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers. It was just announced yesterday that Amari Cooper “aggravated” a lingering groin issue. His status is questionable, but I expect Njoku to be a big part of the game-plan tomorrow. Njoku is a must-start and has a good chance of catching a touchdown.
  10. DALTON KINCAID, BUF PROJECTED 8.3: OVER– I spoke earlier on how I expect Josh Allen to bounce back. I believe that Kincaid will catch his first NFL touchdown today and be a major part of the game-plan.
